Overheating is the number one killer of OBS truck engines. Start with a 3-row aluminum radiator as the gold standard upgrade. Add a proper fan shroud and 16-inch electric fan setup. Replace all coolant hoses as rubber deteriorates from the inside. Install a new thermostat and water pump. Flush the entire system and fill with fresh coolant mixed to the proper ratio. A properly overhauled cooling system will keep your OBS running at optimal temperature for years.
